We reveived a very nice review from guests who travelled from Australia and we hope you find it helpful.

Should we be looking for B&B accommodation in Dublin next year or after, Baggot Townhouse B&B will most likely be our first choice.

We managed the space in the bedroom easily, and the bathroom was
well-equipped and supplied. Living out of a suitcase is not easy, but we
could have stayed longer. In our room, the television was installed near
the door and on the wall. On one occasion when we turned the TV on, not
late, and not loud, the guests in the next room banged fiercely on the
wall. We do not know who was responsible for this rudeness, and we did
not enquire, though we did mention it to the staff.
I have the impression that the breakfast menu is good, but we do not eat
a cooked breakfast. The chopped fruit and cereals were excellent most
days, but we are not early risers when travelling. We found that some
other guests, even those who were doing well with cooked breakfasts,
were fairly greedy in their attack on the fruit, so the bowl was
depleted and any bananas were gone. I do not blame the Baggot Townhouse
staff for this, and I noticed that the staff were anxious to replenish
supplies when they could. We encountered only one disgruntled guest in
the time we were there, but we have no idea why he felt as he did.

Baggot Townhouse B&B is one of three or four in a group, and some of the
staff are rotated between the establishments. It is a common complaint
of tourists and travellers that the staff in hotels are not local, in
this case, not Irish. The assumption is that foreign workers will not be
as useful or know the city. The Baggot Townhouse B&B staff disprove this
assumption. The staff we encountered were two Mongolians and two
Romanians, in addition to kitchen workers. In my opinion they were all
excellent, especially the Mongolian lady who met us when we arrived and
who helped with our departure. I think her name is Haluna, (which I have
probably misspelled.) These people were conscientious, caring,
well-informed on local matters, and quick to advise with bus information
or to order a taxi if required, and they were always there when we
needed to talk to them. I give this staff, particularly Haluna, my
highest recommendation.
